Self-Sealing Mylar® wrapped Capillary Tubes
SAFECAP® is a unique, self-sealing capillary tube with a Mylar® wrap, designed to minimize the risk of exposure to HIV, Hepatitis, and other blood-borne pathogens.
FDA, NIOSH, CDC and OSHA all warn of the potential risk of injury and/or infection from bloodborne pathogens, including HIV and hepatitis B and C viruses due to accidental breakage of glass capillary tubes.

Here's How SAFECAP Works:
1. Fill: The factory installed plug has a channel allowing air to escape while the tube fills.
2. Hold Vertical: The channel seals automatically when blood touches
the plug.
