Our triple Mylar® overwrap minimizes exposure to glass fragments and bloodborne contaminants if accidental breakage occurs. The self-sealing plug eliminates finger contact exposure inherent with manual sealing as well as eliminating opportunity for breakage. The self-sealing characteristic eliminates the use of contaminated sealants. The SAFECAP® is flexible: When used with the SAFEPETTE® dispenser, serum can be easily harvested from the SAFECAP® hematocrit tube without scoring and snapping blood-filled capillary tubes.

We package 100 SAFECAP® Mylar® wrapped capillary tubes per vial. SAFECAP® is available 2 vials per box or 20 vials per box.
